Serendipity Stamps Blog Challenge- Hidden Gems!!

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge! Once a month (on the first Wednesday) we post a new challenge with a central theme. The design team provides samples for inspiration at the beginning, and then again at the half way point of the challenge (on the third Wednesday), but you get the whole month to join us!

Ready for our latest challenge?

SSCB#39 Hidden Gems! Dust off your supplies! Let's see what you've been ignoring and put it to good use!! Use an item from your stash that's been under used on your design - just make sure you include at least one Serendipity Stamps image (Stamp or Die) on your project! Our favorite design will receive our winner blog badge and one random winner of this challenge will receive a $20 discount off their next order from Serendipity Stamps. You have until midnight US Eastern Standard Time on February 2 to link your project. The winner and our next challenge will be posted on February 4.

I used Serendipity's Dandelion Background. I stamped the image onto watercolor cardstock with versamark ink and heat embossed with white. Then I sponged the background using various Distress Inks. Added some sparkle with Heidi Swapp gold Color Shine. The sentiment is Serendipity's Thinking of You (small) stamped with delicata gold ink onto a linen paper.

We have a special guest joining us this month!! Please welcome Kimberly Wiener from Wienerhoneymooners Blog!

For more inspiration there are samples from the design team on the challenge blog or you can visit them directly and get all the details by clicking on their names below.

The rules are simple... play along using at least one Serendipity Stamps image on your submission and the theme of Thankful/Grateful. You don't have to have a blog to play along - you can link your designs to any on line gallery.
