Color Throwdown #449

Good Morning- Happy, Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another set of colors at the Color Throwdown!! This week the colors were chosen by yours truly!!

Okay, so these colors scream a little fall but, look at that flower- it's a warm weather one!!

So, I went with the flower theme using some stamps and dies from Altenew. The flower is Altenew's Spring Daisy stamped and die cut with the matching die using Altenew inks for the orange and espresso from SU for the browns. Loving the Altenew watercolor stencil. The white panel was die cut with MFT's Stitched Basic Scallop dies. Sentiment from Altenew's Recollection's stamp set.

Some inspiration...

Let's Chat Over Coffee!!

Happy, Happy Sunday and Monday Eve.... yep, the stamping fun is over for the WE and it's back to work I go :-(

I have another card for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop...

if you've never joined in- click the link above. It's all about coffee, well, other beverages too if you're not a coffee lover like me!!

This one is a little retro...

I used a bunch of Altenew stamps and dies on this one. The triangles were stamped using my Misti onto PTI select white cardstock with Altenew's Sohcahtoo set using a bunch of summer colors. Then I stamped and die cut images from Coffee Love and the coordinating dies.

The layout is from this week's CAS(E) this sketch.

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!

A Yawn is a Scream for....

COFFEE!! Well, it is for me early in the morning!! AND... everyone knows I love me some STRONG coffee!!

So this is the week for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop...
Here's my first card... I had the stamping time to make two today... WHOO HOO (that is unusual for me these days).

Played with some Verve, MFT, and Altenew for this card. The base is an A2 card and then, I die cut two Inside/Out Stitched Rectangles from MFT. On the larger one, I used Altenew's Watercolor Stencil and sponged blue ink. Then, I stamped the sentiment from Verve's Get Together on the smaller panel. The coffee cups are Verve's Coffee set and die-cut with the coordinating dies. "Coffee" was die-cut three times for a little dimension.

Isn't this a fun card!!!

I used the Fusion challenge for inspiration... sketch and colors!!!

Getting in the July 4th spirit a little early... hopefully we'll make it out to the lake but, Hubs doesn't know,  and I am thinking long WE and the kitchen needs painted :-) We, well, actually Bill and Maddie removed all the old wallpaper but, we need to spakcle, sand, and paint. Haven't been able to find anyone willing to do the work.

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!

Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop

It's time for the Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop! We're changing it up this year- there will be two hops each month as usual and there will be opportunities to win $ to purchase Serendipity Stamps. The design team will be showing you the latest products and offering a chance for you to win some goodies from Serendipity Stamps.

You should have arrived here from Julie's blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below.

So, for my first card I used Serendipity's Summer Flower Pops background. It as stamped on to PTI Select white cardstock and heat embossed with clear. Then, I colored a bunch of the blooms with copics in bright colors. This panel was layered onto a white background. Added the Serendipity Be Kind sentiment onto ovals die cut with Cherry Lynn Oval Classic dies.

This next card... which is also my Color Throwdown card this week uses Serendipity's Summer Flower Pop cling set, Summer Flower Pops Solid set, and Summer Flower Pops dies. I die cut several of the flowers, stamped with the coordinating images, and colored with copics. Added a bit of "black splash" and then used the negative of the Serendipity Summer die,  from the Seasons die set, in the corner.

Looking for some awesome inspiration?

Color Throwdown #447

Good Morning- Happy, Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another set of colors at the Color Throwdown!! This week the colors were chosen by Lori!!

What a fun inspiration pic... perfect for dreaming of the beach!!

And... yes that is what I was doing.... dreaming of the beach!! For this card I used several MFT sets and dies. The background was die cut with a inside/out stitched rectangle die-namic. Then I stamped some images from Exquisite Ocean and die-cut a few of them. The little seashell is from Ocean Pals and die-cut using the matching die. All images were stamped except the shell was colored with copics. Sentiment is from Polynesian Paradise.
